Skyforma started in 2012 as a two-truck domestic carrier between Klang and Penang. We've grown into a 145-person freight, brokerage and warehousing operation — but the values that made the first decade work are still the ones we run by.
How we got here
The company was founded by Raja Hisham and Tan Wei Min in 2012, after eleven years between them at larger forwarders. The premise was simple: small shippers were being underserved, and the larger operators had stopped picking up the phone.
The early years were FMCG linehaul on the Klang–Penang route. Customs brokerage was added in 2015 after a year of frustration handling everyone else's paperwork. Warehousing followed in 2018 when a long-standing client asked us to take over a 4,000 m² facility in Port Klang that their previous 3PL had walked away from.
The team today
We're 145 people — drivers, dispatchers, customs clerks, warehouse operators and a small office team in Kuala Lumpur. The bulk of our drivers and warehouse staff have been with us five years or longer. The dispatch and customs teams are stable, named individuals you can ask for by phone.

The quote is the price
Written quotes are line-itemed and they hold for the period stated. We'd rather quote 4% higher upfront than surprise you with surcharges later.
The phone gets answered
Every named planner has a direct mobile. Office hours are 08:30–18:00 MYT, express line is staffed 07:00–22:00 every day.
We say no clearly
If we can't do a lane, can't hit a deadline, or shouldn't take on the cargo — we tell you on the first call, not after taking the booking.
Problems get owned
If something goes wrong, the planner who quoted you also handles the recovery. No "operations will get back to you".
